Are you afraid of money?

Much of what we do in life we do out of fear. And most of our fears are learned in childhood. For example, do you touch a hot stove? Of course not! Your mother told you not to do that. Do you wear a coat when you go out in winter? Of course! Your learned fear of the consequences protects you from physical danger. If you do not have money or if the money you have is "just enough"; it is because you have a fear about having money. Did you ever hear or say any of the following:
- rich people are greedy
- the rich get rich on the backs of the poor
- money is the root of all evil
- you have to work hard for money
- money doesn't grow on trees
- we can't afford it
- you should have just enough to get by, any more and you are greedy Yes? Sound familiar? By having these thoughts and these beliefs you are automatically limiting your ability to have wealth. If you think rich people are greedy (have you ever mocked the driver of that really nice car that passed you on the road?) then your unconcious mind will do its best to make sure you are never rich... you fear being rich because being greedy is bad. In order to overcome your fears you will need to change your beliefs. This is done through self-talk and repitition... the same way those false ideas got stuck in your brain in the first place.
