"In times of change learners inherit the earth while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to work in a world that no longer exists." - Eric Hoffer (1902 - 1983) You can't stop growing yourself. Personal and Professional development are not options. A recent study estimated that in 2002, there was 800MB of recorded information created for every person on the planet. That would be about a 30 foot (10 meter) shelf of books for each of us. Did you read your 30 feet of books that year? I don't have any more recent statistics, but I know the number for 2006 will be larger. 2002 was estimated to be 30% larger than 1999. Are you enrolled in a learning program? You will be if you want to succeed. I highly recommend the Success University online program. |
